  • June 1 – The city council of Key West votes to end their agreement between the Key West Police Department and federal immigration enforcement. Governor DeSantis threatens to suspend local officials in response.[17]
  • July 3 – The first detainees arrive at the new detention center in the Everglades, officially called Alligator Alcatraz. Five Democratic Florida state legislators attempt to inspect the facility but are blocked by police.[18]
